Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Sterile Processing Tech Lead you will play a vital role in maintaining competent care delivery to patients in our perioperative settings. Our team works together like a family and we are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role:

• You will carry out processes designed to reduce risk and create a safe environment.
• You will display team spirit by assisting with special project assignments.
• You will learn billing process for patients and help with Materials Management duties.
• You will work closely with OR to provide required instrumentation.
• You will monitor implant usage in trays.
• You will assist the Manager in overseeing all facets of instrumentation: i.e. sterilization, repairs, assembly, and Censitrac inventory.
• You will coordinate closely with Manager to address changes and implement improvements to cleanliness of adjacent hospital areas.
• You will be knowledgeable to perform all functions and operations pertaining to the sterilizers. Responsible for operating sterilizers, aerators and their monitoring cleaning.

What qualifications you will need:

• Successful completion of a program for operating room preferred.
• CRCST, CIS and CER or equivalent certification required.
• Has frequent interaction with physicians, nursing staff, ancillary departments, patients and their families.
• Familiarity with and knowledge of medical supplies is required.
